I hope this sinks him. He is such a whiny, tiny, turd. What a stupid fight to pick. He's so little and mean that he's abusing the legislative process to punish the state's largest employer and largest tourism draw.
What message do you think this sends to other employers who might have been considering moving here? What do you think this says to the business community about what life would be like if - gd forbid - DeSantis were to become president? Chaos, recklessness, a total disregard for taxpayers or employers.
Aw, someone has their feelings hurt. This send the message that a big corporation cannot tell the state what to do and think. It’s one thing for Disney to disagree with the Parental Bill but to actively try and get the law dismissed is a whole another level. It’s Disney who doubled down and decided to start this culture war.

An enormous percentage of americans families have members that are gay or have suffered a sexual assault, or have terminated a pregnancy, or are minorities, or are immigrants, or are imprisoned, etc, ect. How are these culture wars to be won when most of the population are families that include people bring attacked by the war?
Wrong thread?
Didn't seem to be. This whole thing was triggered by Republicans being so infuriated that Disney is somewhat supportive of gay people.
That’s an extraordinarily unintelligent take on what’s transpired. Activists are twisting themselves into pretzels to brand the bill as “don’t say gay” but the majority of Floridians agree that gender and sexuality is not an appropriate topic for kindergarteners.
I love how the right-wingers in this thread keep going back to this lie of a talking point about what the law actually says.
The actual law itself is really interesting. Supporters tell you it bans something that isn't happening, sexualized instruction of young children. The text actually doesn't ban that thing (sexually explicit instruction is totally fine under that law of it doesn't touch on gender or orientation, so a teacher could teach a class of 5 year olds how to masturbate without that being banned, even if that's totally inappropriate), and the actual text would make acknowledging gender or families of any kind illegal which is obviously ridiculous. It's like an exercise in ways to demonstrate that law isn't what it says it is, and the result is precisely "don't say gay" as we see from the recent bannings of perfectly innocuous books that happen to have gay families in them.

I would suggest you read up on the issue a bit more. Disney will actually pay less in taxes (and individual taxpayers will have to pay more) if Reedy Creek is dissolved.
One thing about the left that’s always interesting is parroting. Someone on Twitter or Reddit uses a phrase in a talking point - in this case Reedy Creek - and that talking point is constantly used almost verbatim over and over and over across multiple platforms. You can literally create a montage

I’m aware. It’s how it’s used. The talking point
