More fact than opinion.
Definitely way more opinion than fact.
Her powerful healing imagery and words spoke for so many of us who were traumatized after four years of explicit hate mongering, division, lies and an insurrection.
Sorry you could not feel her beauty and truth telling …
I can confidently say that you’ve had issues long before.
True but I am not unique. To be human is to have issues.
Poets paint images and concepts with words that articulate parts of life that everyday discourse alone can’t express. She does that really well.
Your issues are you thinking you are a victim. I am God as much as she is a poet.
Your issue is trying to reduce online strangers into safe and predictable cliches.
Anyway back to the point here.
You as God V Amanda as poet
AG credentials
AG is the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history, an award-winning writer and cum laude graduate of Harvard University.
Your credentials
Unknown. Have you walked on water, made the blind to see or raised anyone from the dead recently?
Now you get it! I haven’t walked on water or made the blind see. Which is why I said she is a poet as much as I am God. Glad you got it now!
Righttio Emmanuel (Gid with us)!
There is a fatal flaw in your theory. Region comes from the Alston religio meaning bond of social relations that unite individuals and connect them to something bigger than themselves - AG is actually acknowledged as the US youth poet and performed at a presidential inauguration. Many were deeply moved by her “athe Hill We Climb” poem.
How many people worship you in a faith community/ church/ synagogue/ temple ?

^^^ I am clearly a mere mortal given my terrible editing … 😀
Right, Emmanuel (God with us)!

NP. We can all be called a “poet.” Means nothing.
I can call myself a doctor but I don’t have the credentials for that.

Agreed! As a youth, I was heavily into movies, read monthly movie magazines, and paid a lot of attention to the Oscars. The year Forrest Gump won the Oscar, I made a clean break with all of it and never went back.
I did the same thing when Crash won the Oscar for BP.

Did you watch the HBO documentary? I had no opinion before that, but the documentary didn’t look good for him.
