Geez, what happened to Visi at the end of the year?

I agree. Anyone who truly knows girls HS lacrosse knows this to be true. The ‘22 class was weak compared to past grad years and all the DMV teams showed that lack of top senior talent. None of our area teams ended the year nationally ranked in top 25 which is unusual. Every team was beat at some point by a team that in the past would not have beaten them. It was a down year. I don’t think anyone is saying this for any reason other than it’s demonstrable truth. Why so defensive?

Why are you hung up on this “down year” nonsense? Did your daughter not play, did your daughter’s team lose all her games or do you just have an ax to grind with a particular team or coach? It was a great year of lacrosse in the DMV and Baltimore, unpredictable made it fun. Ask Glenelg how they felt after their unpredictable win over St Paul’s. Now that the season is over and you will no longer be posting negative comments on this blog, think of a new strategy next year for bringing high school girls down because your “down year” comments didn’t work, it actually motivated them.

It’s prob a visitation parent complaining it’s a “down year”

A short but might victory lap from Alexandria to Chantilly. It will not be forgotten anytime soon. Expect the Saints feel the same.

Congrats to PVI on a nice season. For a team that doesn’t have high-level D1 players they had a great season playing as a team. They put together a solid game at the right time against SSSAS, which was when it mattered most. A great win. Where PVI struggled this season was in their top games, having little offensive output and getting doubled up on the scoreboard against the better teams. To keep this run going they will have to find some goal scorers or have someone step up next year. With PVI now in Loudoun they may be able to tap into that talent pool.
