You're right. They don't have a lot of choices. But they do need to pay for their diabetes meds' skyrocketing copays, which aren't adequately covered by their Medicare premiums, and they happen to live in a country that doesn't actually take care of its elders. So....they get jobs. Its either at checkout at Harris Teeter or driving a bus. The point is they need money. There are no good options.

Just because I think all the remote workers posting to keep schools open at all cost may need a reminder about how America works??

People in our country work.

Their health insurance is typically tied to their job.

When they do not work they lose their jobs.

And their health insurance.

Now imagine being a teacher with chemo. Or with a spouse or a child on chemo or who's had a transplant. Or who has lupus. Or is pregnant. Imagine being told you have to report to work to work with people who are contagious, in a crowded environment... And if you do not, you'll lose your insurance.

Imagine it. Because it's what you're advocating for.

1) Make a Google Doc Spread Sheet. post link so that public can view only. editing rights to one or two people at each school.

Well, that’s the state of things now. Kids all over the world are in-person. You have choices if you don’t want to participate.

Teachers and staff don't have that same choice. We should all be virtual now with the numbers we were at yesterday - and I suspect today.

Parents don't have the choice either.

If your kid gets covid, you might be missing a week or two of work not including if you get sick.
