Deep down, Bari knows she’s a fraud of the highest order. This isn’t even Peter Principle territory - she’s just a fraudulent clown pretending to be a serious, hard-charging media executive. It’s embarrassing to watch.

When Pelley claimed that being fired was the equivalent of seeing your wife murdered, I'm not so sure he was rowing with both oars.

She thought she was hired for being really smart. I remember people on DCUMs saying that she was so smart and being victimized by the NYTs. No, they were right. She is dumb but she thinks she's smart which is a terrifying combination.
