Commitment data would be interesting in 12 months.
Official commitments yes.
Verbal commitments no
Iamyouthsoccer tends to mix the two however it suits what hes looking to convey.

There are only 347 D1 Women's programs.
All of them were there plus 200 more?
Many colleges have multiple scouts attending. Which likely explains the numbers.
noticeably missing is the total number of college programs attending and the total number of D1. lmao.

What about the 10,707 matches?
Like many tournaments GA uses a tool from Athlete One for recruiting management. Coaches and players register. When a coach attends a match they mark it in the tool. When they view or follow a player in the tool it is marked. Coaches move around and view many matches, sometimes just staying for 20 minutes to watch a player before moving on to another match. That's how you get to 10,707 matches.
An average of 25+ scouts for every single match in every single showcase and competitive bracket at all ages? Just admit the number of matches watched is poofed out of no where. Im a GA parent [albeit pre recruiting age]. I want and think it will get there but silly numbers like that make discount the rest of the infographic
