You have to admit, and I’m going be direct that I am not victim blaming either victim for this, but he must’ve thought she was a pretty good actress from her reaction when she was being held down. Couldn’t another human being tell when another human being is terrified? I mean what if he had just stopped and said hey are you still OK with this? And she would’ve been like WTF do you mean!?
Yet you are victim blaming. He was trapped and then he was murdered. What you are saying is thoughtless and cruel. They both still would have been brutally murdered in seconds. No one has to admit to anything accept to again victim blaming. Shame on you for posting this.
I’m wondering if you were connected to Joe because in no way is this victim blaming it’s just being said that had there been a safe word, could it have prevented this whole tragedy? I cannot imagine what Joe thought once he realized what was really happening. The terror, The deceit, etc.
I'm not pp but you're an annoying idiot. Really.
The fact of the matter is, before he was trapped and murdered, he was simulating a rape which he thought was a consensual act. I hope those engaged in this kind of sexual experience will think through the safety precautions going forward. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with thinking about how this could have been prevented had there been safety protocols in place for all involved.

I feel like you see this a lot in spy movies - both parties need to say a particular thing to confirm they are both in on it.
Very sad for the victims.
Agree. If I were CB’s mom, I’d sue the website and everyone responsible for it.
Sue the website for what?
The crime was planned on their site. They had no safeguards, like user verification or safe word requirements, to prevent this.
This is by far, the most ignorant post I’ve seen here….

Welcome, I guess. First day.

Don't people usually have a safe word for these sorts of encounters/ games? Maybe he assumed if she was truly scared she'd be using the safe word.
That is totally true, and she didn’t scream out cup cake, or the color yellow so he thought she was a great actress. There is no more room for victim blaming as it is unfair to those that lost both Joe, he was set up, and murdered in cold blood. He was asked to play a part, and then disposed as if his life meant nothing.
DP. I agree to a point but I’m suspect of any man who agrees to this arrangement. IMO, no good man would be ok with even “pretending” to rape someone. No judgement for whatever games you want but not this. Draw a line.
Get over yourself.

Anonymous wrote:The only part that is unclear is wouldn't CB seem confused and uninterested and wouldn't JR pick up on her body language? There had to be some consensus? Or, did "CB" say, "I am going to act surprised..." Which is also a weird thing to say...
I also don't understand but why did JR willingly agree to drive 30 minutes (in rush hour) from Springfield to Reston at 7am to do this kind of sexual behavior?

This is a site for all fetishes by the way. It isn't different than a site like tinder, or plentofish in many ways. They do not control what people do, or how they meet. It's the same as going to a bar, you cant blame a bar for people meeting. If this happened in a grocery store, then you couldn't sue the grocery store.
