Is there really no better way to find illegal immigrants than on foot? In a day and age where practically everyone has a digital footprint, smartphone, state ID, how is this possible?

You cannot determine citizenship, green card, or illegal status just by looking at someone.

The disabled (autistic) woman who was dragged from her car en route to dr appt was a US citizen too --she was driving a direct route from her house to the clinic parking lot

she says she has trouble sorting voices in crowded situations and with faces covered she couldn't see lips, had never protested ICE, what they said were warnings she thought were threats (and they actually were)

she says they kept stopping asking each other questions because they didn't know what they were supposed to do, where things were, she said she was told if she were a "normal human nothing would be a problem" when she asked for accommodations (she has poor balance), they never asked for her ID, they never told her she was under arrest, they never told her if she had any charges, she asked for a wheelchair, they said "I don't kow if we even have one of those" and said if she was driving her legs must work (she asked if he had ever seen a handicapped parking spot)

She said she thinks oficers are just trying to get thru the day when they have been "given orders that are not righteous"

DHS claims she is charged with obstruction but she has not seen any evidence of charges

Wow, this is nuts. A Minnesota police chief (don’t remember the name of the town) held a press conference regarding ICE’s treatment of his brown and black officers. A number if them were stopped randomly by ICE when they were off duty and just driving around. So basically, ICE saw brown and Black people driving and just stopped their cars. And at least in one case they drew guns until the female officer they stopped told them she was an LEO herself. They left with no apology.

They constantly read out the “illegal” in the term “illegal immigration”, and invent new terms like “civil violation.” Fortunately, the US voters rejected this thinking, but Dems will keep pushing it.

I have not read the thread.. but geez.. it is un- American and inhumane to feel nothing for people who are being shot, who are being harassed at hospitals and at schools. Our cities and communities are invaded by troops with no accountability. U.S. citizen are caught up in this. They are racially profiling people.. you might be okay now.. but this lawless system will get all of us..
