Sad!

Is Valor the only club that recruits from their rec league?

Strange adults skulking around a children's sports practice trying to receuit paying customers is creepy AF

My DD attended a summer camp and was invited to join that clubs travel team. (Not valor) the next year a different club coach watching the all star games approached about joining travel. Acting like this is the only club to "recruit" is comical.

This happened this spring. We were asked to join (no tryouts required).

Saw they are doing additional tryouts this weekend for boys. Gotta fill up those bottom teams with checkbooks.

Sorry- can’t afford Valor anymore. In every sense!

It’s a good incentive to stay at the club for 2 years to get your money’s worth.

Back in the day, the shirts were *sponsored* and that meant the *sponsor* paid for them and they were free to the playeres .

They charge you to print the sponsors logos. Think about that for a sec.

With everything and 2 sets of practice uniforms around 340 with tax.

I don't see why we have to buy particular shorts for practices. And the price of the gold jersey and gold shorts is just stupid expensive.

Sure but they aren't getting more in kickbacks because they selected a more expensive color choice.

They are, because the kickbacks are a percentage based on how much your players spend. If you have 100 kids buying a uniform kit worth $200, you get less kickback than a club with 100 kids buying a $100 kit.

I could not be any less surprised that Valor chose an expensive uniform kit. Gotta make up for the $$ lost by players leaving.
