I agree. VA Union has improved this year. Richmond is the defending MidAtlantic division champion. Until today, Richmond won all its games this season, including beating Arlington last week.

There's no shame in being cut. Different coaches value different qualities. I had one of my kids cut, but he ended up having better coaching at the new club and kept scoring against his old club. What coaches think about the player does not define him or her. Lewandoswki was cut as a youth player by his academy in Poland, but ended up just fine.

So I do not think we should be posting in such a way as to id any girl or talking about them being cuts. One of the girls is now easily ID. If they go to a new team they should get a clean slate. They are 12-13 years old.

One or two girls went to Green, which has a very good coach, others left for other clubs. I know that one player went to Vienna and another one went to Arlington. Not sure where the rest of the girls went, but it is an individual decision for each player. I also disagree with the PP's use of the "cleaned house" language, because it is disrespectful to players.

Yeah they are so awesome they don’t need to “connect passes”. Nobody doesn’t connect passes the way Arlington does not connect passes. They are so fast!

I guess you never watch the USWNT? They ain’t Man City. The women’s game is very different vs the men’s and it starts at the youth level. It’s about physicality, athleticism and speed. If you have a big pool of players you really do not need much more…specially at the travel level.

It makes for very boring soccer.

Yes but it is easy to “coach” and parents are lining up to pay for it.
