Why did you bump it if you have a problem with it, knucklehead

To proselytize, as if most of us were doing the same or as if we need to hear it. Just work on yourself. And develop some humility and perspective. I miss the old days where people were private about their sh#t. Not out of shame, just an understanding of looking inward and growing without the attention seeking. She is exhausting. I am trying to teach this to my children, to just learn to calmly deal with issues, to model being low key and not have to make everything a fascinating, dramatic story. But this is not her way, i get it.

He’s moved on to a place in Alabama. Relatively small place that is high fenced for high priced canned hunts for genetically modified deer with big antlers. I can tell you that making a living as a ranch manager is a tough proposition. If you’ve grown up in it, have family land etc, perhaps but to try to make a really good living from it coming from the outside, I’m not so sure. It’s something you really have to love and realize that there generally aren’t big bucks in this type of work for 99% of the folks. Some yes, but I don’t see it for him long term. I see a state wildlife job or federal fish and game as a career path. Trying to make it as a guide is great work, just doesn’t seem very lucrative long term. Just my opinion.
Any intel on when he left that first job? He wasn’t there for very long. And also, gross - canned hunts for genetically modified deer.

If I read into it more I think she is saying...but not saying...that he did some SERIOUSLY shady shit with their/her money...
Sad for her. I feel like if someone was blowing my/our money it would be a deal breaker for me. Hard to say though, without all the facts.
I think their reason for divorce is 100% financial. I feel like she hasn’t addressed it because she’s embarrassed 1) that she didn’t know anything about their finances and 2) that she’ll be judged for leaving him over money. Would a man be judged for leaving his wife with a major closet credit card problem? Would a non-christian stay with a partner who lost all their savings in risky stock trading? She has commended him numerous times for being a good father. If this comes out as financial and they made no attempt to reconcile, it’s a really bad look for her.
