As long as the camp adheres to the social distancing and 9 players+1 coach requirement, they are allowed to hold camp.
Hence, expect more camps. Whether or not parents will sign their DC up for camp is another story. I am not.
Privates schools will follow the county guidelines on opening their fields. Otherwise they open themselves up to liabilities. One coach and 9 players sounds great but you can not make money let alone break even.
Maybe not. All they have to do is have include the liability waiver as part of outdoor field rental. The liability will then fall upon the club/organization that runs the camp.
We're in stage 1, Maryland youth soccer says individual training only. In stage 2, they suggest 10 per half of the field; so BSC might be able to rent a private field with a liability waiver, but they can only have 20 people on the field. Or they face even steeper liability because they are not following the state youth soccer recommendations.

If you don’t like it, stay home.
Bethesda parent here as well. I have not heard of such a thing. Isn't the season over for most age groups? What age group are you?

How will this work? Is it social distancing? How do the economics of this work- 9 kids, field rental, cost of the coach, etc
9 kids / 1 coach.
45 kids/ 5 coaches.
Many of these coaches are being paid regardless.
All sports don't use fields

Their camps start July 6th: https://www.bethesdasoccer.org/camps-2/

Find someone else to worry about.
PP - what camp is opening in 2 weeks? Our sports camp cancelled. Would love an alternative.
It’s a sport camp in moco that does not need a field? I guess it is a BSC soccer camp and the coach have already been paid?
