Every single club is bigger than one age group. That the FCV team had it happen is just luck of the draw. It could have been any team. Last year at FCV the Uw9s and U17s had about 22 players each.
I get it. Your little Mia is an 05, but this isn't just about her age group.

Stalking a roster your kid isn't on is creepy.
I know you're trying to be "cutsey". However....
Stalking is a verb. It means to pursue or approach stealthily.
Public rosters are meant for people to see. That's why they are......public.
Nope, I'm being serious. I would consider a form of cyber stalking to run from club to club to see their rosters and count the number of players. Just live with the club you chose. Or leave find one you like better. If your kid isn't one of the starting 11, they won't see time anyways, so this could be a hint to expand your list of options.
You a true nut.
Because I refuse to stalk other clubs' rosters? Sure, ok buddy. I see it's been a tough week for you.
noun
noun: cyber-stalking
the repeated use of electronic communications to harass or frighten someone, for example by sending threatening emails.
YOU ARE A NUT
Cyberstalking: "There have been a number of attempts by experts and legislators to define cyberstalking. It is generally understood to be the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, a group, or an organization."
Stalking: "Stalking is unwanted and/or repeated surveillance by an individual or group toward another person."
I can cut and paste too. You are stalking the 05 teams. And if I'm so nutty, then stop responding. That makes you a participant in the lunacy.

As with anything it is all in what you do with the information. Posted rosters are facts and nobody is calling kids out by name in any of this discussion. The points are about rostering and the size of rosters matters. Clubs will have some teams with more than 18 kids and those can be one offs. But if a club is over rostering in multiple age groups then it might be worth pointing out as a situation to avoid for all but the top 5 players. Nothing wrong with pointing that out. And we all know what an issue folks made of Spirit's roster sizes in the past so it kind of rings hollow to say the topic is now suddenly off limits because it not longer fits a narrative.
