Let’s just say it’s not him. If he initially admitted to it, to me that means he’s likely done this multiple times and just wasnt sure if it was him. And the fact he wouldn’t say which person was him also make me think he didn’t remember, yet knew it was likely true. Again, because he possibly did this on multiple occasions.

His literal words from yesterday:

“A website published a photo of me from my 1984 medical school yearbook in a costume that’s clearly racist & offensive. I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo & for the hurt that decision caused then & now.”

And what Steve King (last week) did is racist. but no one is talking about him resigning. Why are standards so much higher for Democrats? We keep falling on our sword to maintain moral purity, while the GOP is going the opposite direction and still has most of the power in our 3 branches of government.

This is something he did as a 25 year old in the 80s. I didn't live in VA in the 80s, but I really don't think this was normal, excusable behavior at that time and place. It wasn't 1954. I was married and had a kid when I was 25 - so I also can't really overlook this as a youthful mistake, or a boys will be boys kind of thing.

The bottom line is that a lot of VA's democratic voters would not have elected this guy if this photo had been unearthed sooner. (Well, OK, even with the photo, I prefer him over Corey Stewart). For Northam's sake, I wish that it had been and he had never run. Of course this photograph doesn't undo his years of service. But, it does have an impact and I would rather see him resign than issue carefully worded apologies.

Democrats whine about trump being racist all the time because he is anti illegal immigration and they whine that he questioned Obamas place of birth yet the majority vote for pc motives based on gender and race and now they support someone who is a racist because he is a dem. If that's not racist or prejudice I don't know what is.

Agreed. Kavanaugh is sitting on the Supreme Court despite a very credible witness testifying to the damage to her life that his attempted rape did. Why is Northam being held to such a much higher standard?

This is a power struggle between Obama and Clinton, plain and simple. Obama's guy is the Lt Gov and Clinton/McAwful's guy is Northam.
