oh hi, it's great falls 2.0
i guess all those folks suddenly forget why gf merged with reston years ago?
These are almost all GFR board rejects - either got booted off or couldn’t get voted on in the first place.
It’s fairly irrelevant though. The problem they all had was with RS and since the club had such instability last year until he stepped down it’s understandable why they would want to start something new. Now he’s gone and this club hasn’t gotten in too deep to realize the coaches they thought would be easy prey aren’t actually gonna leave.
Lol-you are so BITTER!

They did :
Coaching Stability: No coaches have been dismissed. All coaches currently assigned to their teams are scheduled to lead them through the spring season.
Wasnt GD fired for doubledipping with his pay to play private training?
No, he resigned

Is all the drama with the little girls teams? No boy teams moving?

a club that is directly recruiting entire teams from neighboring clubs. it's not just GFR.....
what other clubs?
herndon, loudoun and mclean coaches have all been approached to move teams to rbc
how do you know this
because i'm one of them lol
Are you moving your team or did you tell them to kick rocks?
not moving my team. to be fair, they're offering a great incentive to coaches and families but ultimately these clubs don't do well and the shenanigans are a little too much for me.
Do you think they'll pull it off and actually be up and running for the spring season?
They might get a few teams. They are offering to take teams and only pay $190 to move from another club. I don't know why anyone would do that unless they are terribly disgruntled with GFR which is kinda weird at this point with the changes in leadership.
People on my teams are leaving because they want to keep their team together and are following the coaches. It is that simple. We like the coach and will go to another club as a team to preserve the relationships.
Hope this works out for you. But coaches change all the time. A season or two at most is all you usually get, which I think is a good thing. If you really have a great relationship with the coach reach out for private training regardless of club. Player movement happens all the time too and there is little info about how 26/27 year will play at this new club. It's a good chance you might be looking for club #3 in less than a year
That is probably true. People are leaving to stay together, it's a lot of peer pressure.
Teams rarely stay together completely with the transition to 9v9 changing roster sizes plus the normal differences in rate of development.
Plus the age group changes.
