Also, lots of outraged right wing Twitter accounts are mad at Youngkin for sitting on this “story” for a year.
In other words: another right wing MAGA troll hit job.

Like PP said, weirdly into it...
You can tell an election is coming and Sears is desperate. They keep trying to sensationalize stories like this.
Pro tip: If it’s on WJLA and the reporter is Nick Minock, you can safely assume the reporting is bunk and this is trying to manufacture outrage with deceptive journalism. They were successful in 2021 but it’s not going to work this year because Northern Virginia feels hoodwinked by Youngkin, is reeling from Trump’s attacks and Feds and everyone remembers that photograph of a wide-eyed Winsome Sears holding an AR-15 that no amount of pastel outfits, hair straightener and soft lighting will overcome.
Beware of WJLA, owned by Sinclair. They own many TV stations across the country and had their anchors reading conservative talking points from a script.
But, it's okay to watch stations reading liberal talking points?
Here's a hint: watch both...then check the facts if you can find them.
Minock at least reports on FCPS. The rest just share Reid's slick clips.

And you all are worried about this.
Your children are was less safe at your churches

So what if a girl is pregnant and goes to her counselor for help, the counselor should just say "go talk to your momma" even though the girl knows that momma will just beat her and force her to have a baby she doesn't want? THANK YOU to the staff who helped these girls.
These girls were minors. I can't even believe someone would think like you. This is ILLEGAL - and I'm pro-choice.
PP is 100% right. Anyone who helps a CHILD not bear another child has my deepest admiration.
There's a reason she didn't talk to Momma. Ever considered that Daddy may be the Daddy?

fcps was also paying for these abortions. it’s wrong on so many levels
Wrong. What is alleged is that a staff member helped pay for an abortion. There is no publicly available evidence as yet, so do not spread lies, PP.
There is someone on DCUM who very much wants to smear FCPS with being an abortion provider. That person tried to create a thread yesterday as well.
Beware of misinformation about this, especially from a certain political side.

There needs to be more done than the school system investigating itself. This is wild.

Why should the school counselor tell the parents? It’s none of the parents’ business.

You seem confused. There is a debate between Sears and Spanberger at Virginia State University/
Another debate was offered, but Spanberger refused. Sears accepted.
So, who is afraid to debate?

A “criminal” “investigation” ordered by the ultra partisan Governor after his big donors kid who lives in Ohio “broke” the “story” in the heat of an election season.
It’s also worth noting that the Governor knew about this a year ago and sat on it intentionally. Gee I wonder why.
Because Republicans will do or say ANYTHING for power.
How do you know he knew?

What’s truly sad is fcps preventing the families from being able to support their daughters.
Any teen girl is going to be scared to tell her parents she’s pregnant. That doesn’t mean the conversation shouldn’t happen and an abortion should be done without parental consent.
