His mother was a teacher at Madison. That was a legal transfer at the time. The rules have been changed and if your parent is a teacher, you have to go to the school as a ninth grader in order to be eligible.

He left because Robinson was dropping AP program in favor of funneling more kids into IB. VP at Robo told him he could go to Lake Braddock or Madison, which both had AP focus. Family decided on Madison because of its ties to the school.
