Let's see how it plays out. GP pulled away from GC last year and many of the same players return for both teams. I'm curious if Hilgy told his all star attack crew to work on moving it rather than trying to push their matchups.

5-2 or 5-3


Actual score was 10-4 PVI over GP but several garbage goals for future jv kids in the last part of the scrimmage.

SJC 13 STAB 13 in the 5 quarter scrimmage. We were getting stomped at half, came within 4 when starters came out early in the 4th. It’s just a scrimmage and to be fair STAB is good, has some snipers and a solid ride but we need defense, clear and fogo practice.

Prep faithful will soon learn Hilgy is a good coach not as elite as advertised.

At McDonogh it was well known the admin / BOT would throw financial resources at its athletics program. And yes they were buying players left and right as a means to attract families. (Football and lax)

The “well” has dried up at McDonogh and Hilgy got the hell out out of there at the right time.

He is a better coach than Urick so Prep will be better.
