Anecdotal evidence but my center right TX friends HATE Paxton. I think they are fed up with Republicans in general right now, but if Paxton is on the ticket they will for sure go vote against him.
Further anecdotal evidence but two guys I went to HS with in very deep red West Texas have both recently posted on social media about Christian values in response to some of the immigration actions and the racist Obama post by Trump. They are both pastors - one is the son of the former pastor of the First Baptist Church in my hometown. These are not liberal people, but I think they would vote for a James Talarico.
I don't think Crockett is the candidate Texas Dems need right now. I don't think she can win.
Trump could be actively molesting their grandkids in front of them and white Texans still wouldn’t vote for the uppity black lady. They are in a cult.

I agree with you and am annoyed that she’s giving up her House seat where she’s fabulous for this boondoggle. Early voting starts in just days and she only just put up the issues page of her website.
Even Greg Abbott is in a statistical tie with Gina Hinojosa right now, you’re correct about the current fedupedness of Texans.

This is in addition to Senator Collins's campaign and several other SuperPACs supporting her. SLF's executive director said “Collins is the only Republican candidate that can win Maine. She is critical to maintaining the Senate majority and we will be there for her."
$40mn just for Maine? Uh oh. Let’s hope the fundamentals there have changed and this ends up being $40mn the GOP tosses down the drain.
ICE has just been deployed to Maine.
Trump making a contribution to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. How nice of him.
I hope so. Susan Collins, despite being useless, seems to have nine lives.
Collins has made it official, she's running again. Let's hope she's used up all of her nine lives.

lol. 30 years of concern. Good luck Janet Mills!
This is a great ad, but we don't want Janet Mills. There's really nobody of pre-retirement age who can run against this concern troll??

You do know there is a Democratic primary right? And no, Michigan is not going to lose a Dem senator.
She has too much money for someone to beat her.
So did Coumo. Haley Stevens is seen as a Chuck Schumer lackey. His stink will sink her. Peopel do not want out of touch politicians, especially now. I do wish Abdul El-Sayed would drop out.
Stevens worked on the Auto Bailout and saved Michigan jobs. People remember that (helped Biden get elected in 2020). She is not a terrible candidate. Michigan is moderate and I believe that she will get a ton of support from independents and win the Senate if she’s the nominee. I am from Michigan and my friends and sample who are still there support her.
