Why stop going to church? There are plenty of mainline protestant churches who welcome everyone and actually follow the teachings of Jesus; at least churches that aren't evangelical, Southern Baptist or Catholic.

One thing I am teaching my kids is how to garden and grow their own food. We are both learning together right now.

If we are all going to be forced to go back to the great depression, the old solutions sometimes work.

Enrolling your children in college in Europe can offer several distinct advantages, both academically and personally. Countries like the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and France offer some of the best programs in various fields such as engineering, arts, business, and medicine. Tuition fees are significantly lower compared to the US or other parts of the world, and the cost of living in Europe can be more affordable than in countries like the US or the UK. Studying in Europe gives your children the opportunity to experience different languages, customs, and lifestyles. This international exposure can help broaden their perspective and build global networks. Several European countries offer post-graduation work permits that allow students to stay and work after they complete their studies. Countries like Germany and France have favorable visa policies for international students seeking employment. Not to mention, if your children are enrolled in an EU university, they often have the right to live, study, and work in any EU country, enhancing their opportunities after graduation.

The problem is language proficiency and having to take IB program. Not a valid choice for kids who haven't been raised bi-lingual and practice the language daily and go to school that doesn't offer IB where taking it externally would be challenging.

It's a good choice for people who already have a lot of international exposure and when kids had gone to school at least part of the time overseas. I also don't think that being able to remain in Europe and work for years to come is as easy as you say, competition for well paying jobs there isn't likely to be easy.

LOL to the dude who says men “gave” women the right to vote after these women valiantly survived Occoquan Night of Terror. The suffragists persisted for decades. Please.

DP. My DC did this.

Cost is a major factor - we paid tuition of 20,000 Euros/yr for a global top 5 university in Europe, which included full and free access to the national healthcare system. Cost of living is definitely less - both housing and food. Public transport is better also.

Students successfully completing an undergrad degree were automatically admitted to a masters program of their choice at the same university.

At the Masters and undergrad level one could complete the entire program in an English-track or mixture of national language & English.

Highly recommend!

I kinda had this idea before Trump got re elected as I've been feeling the US slipping for the last couple years. My kids are also mixed raced and again my youngest has already figured out what the advantages are to studying abroad

So I had looked into this as my 2 kids are 7th and 9th grades with my youngest eager to go abroad in college. What I discovered is that your grades actually have to be pretty strong and a lot of countries have pretty robust requirements and standards for acceptance. In other words, it's not that easy to get in which isn't to say it's impossible to do but you really have to do you research before your kid is like a senior in HS

Your comment is why we need better education in this country. Misogyny is stupidity.
Keep pushing us and see what happens.

We gave the right to vote, we can take it back.

Big strong man, showing off strength...

Beat your chest somewhere else, ape. You didn't "give" us anything, and you'd be surprised what we can take from you, if you decide to start that battle.

You exist because of a woman, and if you're thriving, it's probably because a woman (still) supports you. You're nothing without us, and we'd be better off without you. Consider that before you try to start a battle of the sexes.

You’d be dead within weeks without men.

No power, no water, no heat, no food, no gasoline. We keep the world running toots, you better be thankful.

Tell us again how you’d be better off without us?

I dare you to say that to your own mother fool.
My mother is smart enough to know that men do the work that keeps society functioning, unlike you.

Are you seriously going to argue that we don’t?

Of course that’s what I am saying. Healthy and functioning men AND women are both necessary for a society to function. That’s a fact as old as time. What society has ever existed in all of history without the shared contributions of both sexes? Are you human?
