There is no way in hell you can just re-record old songs and make money off them when someone else owns the rights.
Fake theater to scam people.

Interesting that her letter stated she tried and couldn't get into finishing Reputation. And she completely re-recorded Debut! I wonder if and when she will release it...
Good for her! I bet it wasn't cheap.
Was the whole thing a hoax scam? Why doesn’t everyone just re-record their songs to make the original devalued? The whole thing always felt fake and certainly feels faker than ever with her getting everything in the end.
I think a lot of it was to set people up for her Eras tour which is where the real money was made. I don't care though, she released a lot of amazing new material with each re-recorded album from that era. It was also all available for free. Now if she did something like make you buy her full re-recorded albums to hear the new stuff then I might be a little annoyed.
How and where was it all available for free? I never heard that.
I think what PP is trying to say: if you bought the album on iTunes or Amazon music, then your album was automatically updated without you having to buy it again.
I pay for Spotify premium, so it’s all the same to me. I did chose to listen to Taylor’s Versions over the original songs when I had the option.

Both music and personality

I don't see how she can look at the photos of what he was wearing last week and conclude she wants to spend the rest of her life with that buffoon. But hey, different strokes for different folks!
He’s pushing his beer yesterday on his podcast while wearing a hoodie. Nobody goes from smart British pretty boys to this dumb slob.

His Wonderlic score was a 22--that converts to about a 104 IQ--so perfectly average. I'm guessing that at this point in her life she'd trade 15 IQ points for the joys of a partner with low neuroticism.
He flunked high school and college courses. He has CTE and anger issues. He speaks at an elementary school level. Listen to five minutes of their podcast and it’s clear his doofus older brother has a much stronger vocabulary and higher IQ.
Ok but what are your thoughts on Matty Healy
I think TS and MH are artistic twins and soulmates and have chased after each other for a decade+. There are so so many clues in their lyrics over the years.
Matty is an acquired taste. He is absolutely magnetic in a can’t-take-my-eyes-off-of-him way during live performances. I have been to two concerts of The 1975, and women of all ages hyperventilate like you wouldn’t believe it for this man. Halsey lost her mind over him, as did Taylor. He is intelligent, quick-witted and has a very high music IQ, which a fellow artist Taylor must have found extremely attractive.
Lastly, contrary to what her US fans believe, the actual Matty is sensitive, gentle and extremely progressive. I am convinced her deciding to become more politically vocal a few years ago was in part inspired by Matty, who she has been trying to impress since their mid 20s.
