I have yet to hear who Biden should bow out FOR.
Until you have that miracle candidate you have nothing and have only made Biden's problems even worse with all of your loud hysteria and circular firing squad.
You have less than 3 weeks to produce that miracle candidate. Clock's ticking. And if, by August 19th, you don't have anything, then you will have screwed over Biden, and screwed over every Democrat. That will not be forgiven.
The miracle ticket is Hillary Clinton with Michelle Obama as VP. Take that to the bank and cash it
America is over the same people being president- no Clintons, Obamas, Jeb Bush, Kennedy, etc. There is nothing about being married or related to a president that magically makes you a great candidate for president. It’s nepotism. It’s just passing the crown around to family members, basically a monarchy. Why can’t dems run anyone that isn’t a lifelong politician or a family member of a politician?

Why would he give the magas more time to adjust their messaging? I wouldn't expect any drop out before their convention next week.

Several suggestions have already been proposed, in this thread and all over the internet. Including the Vice President. We are screwed whether Biden stays in or drops out, but possibly have a fighting chance with a younger candidate.
No, that's all just been idle speculation. They have thrown the names of people around who have already said they won't run. They need a REAL candidate. And they need to do it fast, they need to repair all of the damage they have done these last couple of weeks.
Stop lying and misinterpreting. The people who are most prepared and willing to take over cannot publicly say so unless Biden bows out, since they are either part of his administration (Harris), or Governors who are loyal to his administration (Newsom, Whitmer, etc).
Do they want to be on top of the ticket? Very much so! But for the good of the Democratic party, right now, to avoid any fallout and divisions (which would translate to lack of delegate votes for them at the Convention), they are trying to maneuver so that Biden anoints a successor.
Sadly, Biden and his team are delusional and it's not working right now. So it's a game of who blinks first. A plurality of elected Democrats (behind closed doors, not publicly) want Biden to accept he needs to go, and the more desperate they get, the happier they'd be with Harris, who is the most easily placed successor. Hence the pressure put upon his aides and relatives, because they're most to blame for propping him up in a bubble and telling him what he wants to hear.
At some point a decision will have to be made. Here are the options:
A. Biden bows out before the Convention (actually, before the virtual vote count in August) and names a successor. Democrats all rally behind them. Best chance of winning White House, Senate, House.
B. Biden refuses and tries to run out the clock. Some Democratic leaders declare their candidacy, causing a fracture with the current administration, and we open to a wild Convention. Who knows whether Democrats win the White House, Senate or House with that kind of fight.
C. Biden refuses and runs out the clock. Democratic leaders chicken out and he's the nominee. GOP wins the White House, Senate and House.
The next few weeks are going to be critical for the next 4 years.
Bidens wife , the greedy wench, should be given a check and put out to pasture . She’s the one dragging this out along with Hunter.
Hillary was nominated in 2016 and should be the nominee now with Michelle Obama as VP. They both make stump speeches together along with Bill and Barack as the first first husbands of America . Kamala gets SoS or something

Some of these include:
➡️ Gov. Gretchen Whitmer
➡️ Sen. Gary Peters
➡️ Rep. Elissa Slotkin
➡️ UAW President Shawn Fain
It’s been reported that Whitmer said privately that “Biden can’t win Michigan,” and based on her not showing up tonight, it seems she actually believes that!

Kamala Harris, whom you clearly despise, since she's the obvious candidate and you're still asking who is available and competent.
She is competent.
Biden funds will transfer naturally. It's a huge campaign war chest she can tap into immediately.
Many Biden supporters prefer her, and many Biden supporters who don't will transfer their loyalties to beat Trump.
She will easily out-debate Trump, who is himself in decline. The only reason he looked energetic was in comparison to Biden.
She will get the female vote.
She will get the Black and Asian vote.
She will likely successfully appeal to the Hispanic vote.
She's a shoo-in, so incredibly obvious that you can't see it, because apparently you have some hang-ups.
