Pre-ecnl is usually the third team at younger ages, after ECNL 1 and 2, if that’s what you’re referring to.

U12 top team went undefeated at ECNL St. Louis last weekend.

U11 top team beat MD United 3-0 last weekend.

That’s not “hardly impressive” so you may be mistaken given BSC’s absurd team names. I think it’s been discussed here multiple times before how ridiculously stupid and confusing it is to call a third team pre-ECNL.

I know top team u11 well. 80% cannot juggle 20 times. Many of them do lacrosse and very athletic with very little soccer skills. But keep looking at scores and names.

My daughter played the top U12 team today and BSC played very nice possession based soccer with coaches who were supportive and didn't scream like maniacs. Seems like a lot of axes to grind on here.

Supportive and not screaming like a maniac is about the last way I would characterize SC from extensive experience. And there’s plenty of Veo to prove it. But maybe he’s changed or an outlier. Wasn’t there.

My kid is at FCDelco - I don't care one way or the other about BSC, just noticed this thread after we played them today (3-3 tie, came back from 3-1 down). I can give you a breakdown of every goal if you'd like, lol.

Please do

Yup was there - I guess we'll hear on the VEO later, but the sideline seemed very tame compared to a lot around PA/NJ.

That is a USSF requirement! Even in rec. BSC has no choice in that, so the answer is yes.

Now if BSC is putting kids with unregistered staff or coaches, that’s another thing.

But I guess that is probably in that super secret filed under seal court case this forum claimed is happening. 😂

While it is a requirement, it appears many coaches are not up to date with them. Just go to https://learning.ussoccer.com/, create and account, go to “directory”. There you can search for any coach in the countryb and see what license they have, if they have their safety certification up to date, etc. You’ll be surprise. Many BSC coaches appear not to be compliant.

Thanks for the info. I saw a post claiming that a BSC coach may have a criminal record.

I would be really careful about repeating that here or anywhere without proof!! It’s not right and it’s a very Sinister allegation if untrue!

It's become part of the culture to have coaches berate the players for 70-90 minutes.

To be compliant they need to have the safesport certification. Looking at it, some do, some don’t.
