+1
It's disconcerting that that shtt website had money for a commercial

It was the over-the top gold jewelry that was distracting.

Yes, she has a crowd of really annoying friends and this is one of the main ones. Sometimes she throws one out, like Karli Kloss.
Was Blake "chugging" beer with Taylor? I
ask because she's (Blake's) famously sober - not b/c of a "problem" but she claims to have stopped drinking when she had kids.
I think her other friend with the bob was? I love how Blake is sober but shilling alcohol to people with her company. She and Ryan Reynolds are grating.
I feel certain that Taylor was actually "chugging" water or apple juice (sugar free) and not beer.
How? Why?
Did she drink often before? I ask because a 36 year old lady chugging beer seems strange/problematic. ("All or nothing")
She quit drinking for the ERAs tour and has to work out constantly to be able to sing and dance for 4 hours.
Did she drink often before? I ask because a 36 year old lady chugging beer seems strange/problematic. ("All or nothing")
It's a "thing" at sports games that the person on the jumbotron chugs their drink. So no it's not "problematic".
Many people will not drink when called upon to do something super athletic. Like Tom Brady never drinks during the season but then he's drunk as he!! at the superbowl celebration, so much so poeple had to hold him up.
Is it? Ok, that’s all I need to hear, and I’ll let it go. I didn’t know that.
I'm not sure that is true. It's also a thing to stop drinking when the third quarter begins. Also, if it is a "thing" why was she met with booing????
It's not a "thing" to stop drinking at the third quarter. Some stadiums stop selling alcohol after halftime. People don't just suddenly stop drinking what they had (in fact, it's more of a "thing" to get yourself a fresh drink right before they stop sales).
And the booing was because.....
New poster. I'm certain of the booing was all about the haters who don't want to see Taylor Swift.
Haters gonna hate hate hate hate
Personally, I think they are just jealous of her success. I'm the one that posted earlier that said everything she touches seems to turn to gold. She's smart and very, very successful. Some people just don't like to see other people succeed. I have to admit I get a little envious about her sometimes. She has everything. 🤷♀️
It's not jealousy. For most people, her kind of success is a nightmare. I get tired just thinking about her schedule.
The truth is that people are tired of seeing her. Including myself, and I say that who someone who has listened to her music a LOT over the last few years, genuinely enjoys unpacking her lyrics and how they relate to her personal life, and would be thrilled for the opportunity to see her tour.
Now that she's encroached into an entirely new sphere it's just too much. Overexposure is real. She's girlbossing too close to the sun and the narrative is changing.
It’s sad how women with extended success make others uncomfortable. They’re told they’re greedy or overexposed . Yes she is girlbossing and so what? I hope she goes above and beyond the sun . I’m no Taylor fan either and couldn’t name more than 3 songs by her if I tried.
It’s not the successful woman thing, it’s the narcissistic celebrity overexposure that we’re cannot stomach. I feel very similar about Kanye and not only is he mentally ill, he’s not close to being as ubiquitous as Taylor is. She’s become completely insufferable.
I think Taylor is just as uncomfortable of the media hype as you are. That’s probably why she’s always drinking. I would feel anxious too if the cameras were on my face incessantly .
You’re kidding, right? She’s been in the spotlight her entire life and pays for the PR. But clearly people like you lap it up.
I don’t lap it up and in fact was critical of her staged photo backstage with Celine. It’s obvious she has PR but so does every other entertainer. It seems to me people want to knock her down a peg just because she’s very successful, has friends , is friendly , and is in a relationship. It’s not her fault she’s not a grouch
I do agree that people want to knock her down a peg but I actually think this is a good instinct. When people are at that level, they get big heads. Being a billionaire should have its own entry in the DSM. I think it's healthy in our society that when we see someone becoming extremely powerful and popular, there is an instinct in many people to criticize and pick them apart. I'm sure it's not fun for the person but I think it's good for society because it can help prevent cults of personality, fascist dictators, etc. Skepticism, criticism, and judgment are guards against this.
When I encounter people who think Swift (or Elon Musk, or Donald Trump, or Jeff Bezos, or Oprah, or whoever) can do NO wrong, I just think "oh, you're dumb." Of course they can do wrong. They are human, and they are humans with an outsized amount of money and power.
So yes, people instinctively want to take her down a peg. I'm sure it sucks for her, I'm sure she'd rather just be having fun and getting no criticism. But guess what, if she really wanted privacy and less criticism, she could have it. Tomorrow. She doesn't want privacy. She wants to be very public and ALSO beloved and un-criticized. This might be understandable, but it's unhealthy for society, so tough $hit.

There wasn’t booing
"...Taylor Swift was shown on the big screen at Allegiant Stadium during a TV timeout and was loudly booed, mixed with some cheers as she chugged a beer and slammed down the cup. It's been a weird season," NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero shared on Sunday evening...."
Look at Ice Spice sitting primly with her hands in her lap.
Taylor Swift just uses people for PR. Same with Lana being there. She just wanted her trashy friend from Nashville and that smug Lively there.
Was her high school friend from
Nashville there?
NP and what’s trashy about her Nashville friend? You’re referring to Abby right?
