He seemed most emotional when he said it to Leslie. Wasn’t he crying?

Oh pluhleez!
It's not like the kids are attached to Gerry. They're just having fun asking him the questions they were told to ask. They won't even care whether they see Gerry again or not.
Chill.

I’m sure it will be edited to make it look like he’s a goner for Leslie. I think bringing the little kids into this is sick.
Faith: so I want to be close to my kids, and I buried my horse here...so if you aren't gonna move to my home, this isn't gonna work.
Gerry: not sure how we can reconcile that (b/c I like my daughters too).
As I said about 30 pages back: the logistics are the elephant in the room.

Did you see how Gerry hugged Leslie when she was sad and he said "you're my girl."
The only way the producers would put that in the show at this point is to mis-direct the public into thinking Leslie is the winner. So, that alone makes me think that Leslie is definitely NOT the winner.
I stand behind my belief that Theresa will in fact be the winner.
I think Faith or Leslie would make good Bachelorettes (at least from what we know at the moment).
Didn’t he say the exact thing to Ellen (who he eliminated)?
I think Theresa is not attractive at all. Faith has a good figure but is not pretty.
I am not saying looks are the must important thing, but he has his pick.
Right?!? She's average at best.
She's tiny and cute. Gerry the protector digs that.
She is cute. She's 70 and looks good!
Maybe she "looks good" compared to Ellen, but not compared to Faith and Leslie.

+1 I think she looks GREAT for 70! What you are seeing is normal AGING! The face doesn't hold all of it's youthful fullness/muscle tone as it ages.
I volunteer at a hospital/outpatient clinic and I see a LOT of people who are younger than Theresa who are in far worse shape.
Theresa would do better with a side-part on the hair --- maybe even make it shoulder length or chin length. I don't think the weight of her hair is doing her any favors framing her face. She has a huge smile. I think she might look nice with some highlights too. They say you should go lighter as you age. I think that's right... the single-tone very dark hair on most of the ladies does not look so good.
Faith is 10 yrs younger than Theresa -- so not a fair comparison. I think Leslie is 6 yrs younger than Theresa.
I think they all look lovely and all are in excellent physical shape --- which is pretty unusual. I look at my peers in the 50's and nearly everyone is heavy. So, you have to give some credit to these ladies for staying active and keeping their weight at a good level -- it's not typical.
