I thought he was against SROs? If he's trying to make schools less safe, he would be pro-SRO at least based on the actual studies.
He is against SRO's and any kind of discipline or consequences.

to add.. violent behavior is not as bad in ES as it is in MS/HS, and RJ works better for ES aged kids, not teens.
I don't know about any of that but it worked great at our school for resolving an issue with bullying.

It doesn't work well at any age as the victim should not be forced to sit through a fake apology. And, kids need consequences. If they are behaving like that, forcing them to do a fake apology means nothing. And, since things are worse, not better, clearly it's not working.
