The third vote yesterday had 20 Rs not for McCarthy. The first two had 19 Rs not for McCarthy.

It was Victoria Sparzt from Indiana. She's Ukraine born, and maybe is hedging her bets since MAGA wants to cut off aid. Doubt is was about lowering the threshold since she didn't vote in the initial round and it was clear Kevin didn't have the votes.

She's eyeing Indiana Senate primary.

No, 11 more. You need a majority of those voting. There are 434 members-elect. If 12 vote vote present, then a majority is 212 (which is Jeffries' vote total). If only 6 vote present, then a majority is 215.
