Hey forever maskers - while you were too busy to read the data around masks actually not working, did you fail to see that the pandemic is essentially as over as it will EVER be? You people love to cite "case numbers" versus anything that means anything - but those case numbers have plummeted. The only people testing positive these days are the wackos who insist on testing every day for their runny nose. But go ahead - keep wearing your nasty N95 (which, btw, is meant to be changed after EVERY patient encounter) - or your facial decoration.

That’s my point. People should be able to choose what’s right for them. Before the options were limited. Now they are not.

Some people can't afford N95 masks on an ongoing basis.


Then those people need to seek assistance. Entire populations whether it be school or otherwise aren’t going to wear masks because a, I’d imagine small percentage of people who think they are vulnerable to virus can’t afford N95s, even after being vaccinated. That’s not a good enough excuse, teachers should be provided by good masks by the SB if they request it, and local community go fund me type of initiatives should be considered for those families that request it. This will never be a prevent every last case of Covid situation and never has been.

Cloth masks on vaccinated 5 year olds are 100% a political issue.

The entire pandemic was a health issue. But that did not stop politicians from politicizing the hell out of the pandemic.

Remember Kamala Harris characterizing it as “Trump’s vaccine” and expressing doubts about it during the campaign?

Ward 8 in D.C. remembers what she said. And her remarks explain why “vaccine hesitancy” is highest in Ward 8, which still has the lowest vaccination rate in the region.

Sure they are, if the person needing protection is wearing the best mask they can and they accept kids wearing crap cloth masks that do nothing.
