Right but she's 26-27 and you're 50.
And when I was in my 20s, I would definitely have worn that sweater to work. Grow up.
Reality check. She dresses like a 50 year old who has given up on fashion. She looks frumpy.
Whatever you say. Because we all know, you have to be right.
Well, I am 52, and I know my age demographic! She is almost 30 years younger. Why does she look like my age bracket?
What on earth is wrong with the lilac sweater? She's wearing something completely appropriate for the workplace. I can't even imagine what you'd prefer her to wear, nor do I want to.
I don't know why you're honed in on the purple sweater when there are a lot of other examples of her dressing much too old for her age. In my 20s (20+ years ago), I probably would have worn that purple sweater, sure. But I wouldn't have been caught dead in an oversized suit jacket, those weird pleated tapered pants she wears, etc., I actually wore stylish, fitted skirt and pant suits every single day. Key word: fitted.

Here's the sweater. I don't like the fit or the look of the false pocket tabs on her.
I watched a bit of her last press briefing and noticed (have before but no as consciously) how she bounces when she speaks. She's 5, 15, and 50 all at the same time.
I crowdsourced this for you guys - I texted both pics to four of my nieces aged 22-30 (all professionals - an engineer, a consultant, an investment banker, and an MD) and they all agreed this is an old lady top and none of them would be caught dead shopping at Ann Taylor.

Indeed. It’s an unusual departure for Trump, since he likes his women to dress more like Hope Hicks and less like Susie Wiles.

Oh, well then there we have it! Forget about individual taste when you have the hive mentality.
You really need to get over this sweater, LOL!
