We haven't had any abortion law for over 30 years, one of the few countries in the entire world like that. We fly under the radar. Contrary to popular opinion nobody is getting late term convenience abortions here either. Our abortion rates aren't even terribly high compared to countries with restrictions.
Maybe have NO LAW and let women do what they like. I would be ridiculed for trying to tell my neighbour what to do with her body. It's a medical procedure between herself and a doctor.
+1. This is the only “conservative” position. Any law whatsoever is the nanny state interfering. The fact is a lot of people make a lot of money off unwanted children, whether from their sale, for their parents’ desperation, or their eventual imprisonment. Follow the money- it isn’t Big Abortion making out. Most abortion doctors would love for abortions to be a small part of their practice. It’s Big Religion and Big Prison and Big Business that profit off the bodies.
