Maybe if they have had a kid go through the system already. I am not sure if most parents with an 8 year old know that much. Ones who are leaving probably had an issue with the coach. It takes a few years to really understand the Program IMHO.

valor decided to solve that problem by....not hiring any coaches for next season. Can't have a problem with the coach if you don't have a coach!

It becomes pretty obvious when nepotism/favoritism takes hold and no one from other clubs shows up to join DC.

Most adults are a quick study when dealing with competitive youth sports. There is a bit of snake oil involved depending on the coach, though. Some parents can be sold on nonsense or have a hard time accepting their own kids inadequacies when they realize they had been taken for a year or two.

I don't know what happened, but that team is losing a lot of players. They've cannibalized the Gold team to fill a roster for next year, and the Gold team had to make offers to every player on the White team to get numbers. White team is going away.
I heard a lot of it had to do with the coach and Valor continuing to overpromise and under deliver. Also, the NVA split and murky pathway with FVU creates a lot of anxiety. The team was solid this year, but will struggle next year.

I do not think the team was solid at some point. They didn't good at the league and tournament (after WAGS, they didn't win)

Good players left in the middle of season?
Look at valor, they drop off after the fall. Lots of complaints about their winter programming which falls into the spring and has them trailing. I doubt players left, but the level of play usually drops with this program in the spring. 14 out of 25 is a meaningless statistic. The division collapsed from two to one in the fall. Several teams higher in the seedings mostly play second teams, so Strength of Schedule varies a lot across teams.

Valor sucks, but arguing about how well a u-little team did in rankings is kind of silly.

Throwing shade because of the rankings app just cycled through a year? It looks like they almost tied Arlington who is in state cup semis and went undefeated in the league. Also, this ranking site is meaningless, especially for Ulittles, because any team playing EDP gets inflated points throughout the year. It is unclear how Pre ECNL will do points this year since they collapsed the division.

We had a number of Valor girls come out from their top team, which we played this year. We had one added to the second team from what I was told by that TM so not sure if agree with your statement.

Clubs don't want poorly trained players. Valor kids from their ECNL-RL team came and tried out for my son's team this season, and only made the second team (they all declined).

Makes sense b/c the ECNL-RL teams play each other over and over again and they are very familiar with most of the players on the other teams.
