The mothers life takes priority over saving the unborn life.
It seems insane to me that in Texas, a woman with an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage can die because even abortion of an already dead fetus is not allowed . Abortion is the MEDICINE to treat miscarriage. A miscarriage is medically called a spontaneous abortion because it’s an unplanned abortion
Millions of Catholics and Christians are not hard line at all. They ignore this dated backwards guidance and they get the care they need from IVF to birth control or abortions. Eventually the Catholic Church will make progress and focus more on more important issues like poverty and hunger and shelter and healthcare needs etc.
