The ECNL coach is big mad. Better watch out. You'll be fine coach, sorry that GA is taking the spotlight.

What spotlight exactly?

Looking through the list, I see VDA and NVA? Did ARL or FVU not have any?

I think the post was for all clubs that had 10 or more 2026 commitments. I don't think those clubs had 10 or more

10 or more D1 commitments

Ahh the cherry picking details are becoming more clear. 10 or more D1 verbal committments. This has nothing to do with ECNL its simply the results from the top clubs in the nation. If Iamyouthdork had done the exact same process in 2020 the large percentage of clubs would be DA. Don't get confused that the local ECNL club down the block is the same as what's being represented.

It will be interesting to watch this list of clubs over the next couple of years. Boys ECNL is not bringing in big $$$. Eventually some of the top girls ECNL clubs will switch to GA + MLSN so they can make money on both the girls and boys sides.

So is ARL or FVU not considered top clubs of the nation and VDA and NVA(Previous) are? Or is this a reflection of local clubs that have better ability to help more kids a shot at a D1 school?

ARL + FVU might have 10+ verbal commitments but they're not publicly announced, not found by imsoccerdork, or not all D1. See how the data is being manipulated? This isnt a list of players playing college soccer. This is a list of the clubs D1 collegs are recruiting from. Its an old boys network between you DOCs and college Coaches / Recruiters.

Parents eat this stuff up. Unfortunately a percentage of the D1 players will hit the portal within 8 months of starting school.

as the people who run the site say, it is a list of PUBLIC COMMITMENTS on instagram, Facebook, or twitter and any commitments not on those sites but someone text them. pretty easy to understand. and well if they are not D1 then they wont be on the list. go take your medicine and calm down. facts just smacking you all around

You actually think clubs withhold college commitments? They post them as fast as they can.

Youth clubs do post official signed comments ASAP. You are correct on this.

Youth clubs do not post verbal commitments. Or they shouldn't be because a verbal commitment can change or be revoked.

Clubs Post verbal commitments. Literally all the time. There are already 2027 verbal commitments posted by clubs and kids.

My kids club only posts official committmemts. At least that's all I've seen them post.

There are no official commitments right now. All kids have is a verbal and a handshake.

And clubs still post the commitment.

Anonymous wrote:FYI, DD is ‘27 GA player. Have already received multiple offers from very good D3 schools. Have been contacted and already had conversations with some Mid Majors and they want to schedule visits after August 1st. No interest from any P4s at this point. Bottom line we have at least one D3 we know she likes and also one D1 she likes. Don’t expect an offer until official visit. D3 has already offered max Academic scholarship thanks to GPA.

We look at anything from here out as an added bonus and let her decide if she likes any other schools that may contact her. Still have GA Showcase over the next few days to impress.

Just sharing our firsthand experience as a GA parent. Good luck to all of you and don’t rush!!!

Congratulations. My kid plays at a top Socal GA club and the older players seem to have similar experiences.

My DD had her first school reach out last week, University of Alabama. We couldn't believe it. Outside of football I dont know anything about this school. She's very excited that they reached out. The club also has recruiter types stopping by during sessions all the time to look at players.

Not really sure where any of this will lead to but GA playoffs are this weekend and we're expecting to do well. The entire club is amped and ready to go.

Wow, that's s really good womens soccer program D1 + SEC + ranked top 10 in the nation. Congratulations

Alabama is top 10 in soccer?

They are if accurate, and I’ve seen no meaningful effort to dispute the facts asserted, instead of just kvetching.

As reliable as any post here. Odd complaint in an anonymous forum post.
