I think Mclean used to be primary club in this area that had ECNL so talents flocked over to Mclean to get noticed by college coaches. Once Arlington and Brave got the ECNL status + the decline of GA/DA, talents have more options and spread out. Not that any club is getting better or worse at developing talents but talents have more options to pick and more spread out over all.

RIP McLean gotta roll with the times!
Arlington isn't doing much better but so many factors that contributed to that. They seem to be doing ok on the younger sides so hopefully they are building the program to be better. FVU is likely going to get dissolved in 2 years and another merger.

Girls side only really 1-2 high performing team. I suspect FVU will no longer exist after 2 or so seasons. They don't have the facilities, coaches and are getting leftover kids who couldn't make another ECNL team.
This isn’t Spades so stop with the 1 possible 2 stuff. They have ONE high performing team and those kids will be graduating sooner than later. The mighty McLean looking more and more like Valor.
I don't get it, Mclean advertising 4 girls teams are headed to nationals, so how are we measuring high performance? Boys only have the 1 team that qualified .. so yes, boys have historically and likely will continue to struggle
Please stop already with Union qualified 4 teams to nationals. 2 champions league qualifiers is the headline. We are measuring performance with 2 champions league qualifiers. That is less than VDA and NVA. One more than BRAVE.
