I’ll give the Blake bot this, you have to admire her absolute lack of mastery of facts and heavy level of delusion.

I don't think they won, but I also don't think Baldoni or Wayfarer won. They:

- Admitted in writing that Lively's claims "deserved to be heard."
- Had their entire countersuit dismissed by the judge for failure to articulate even a single valid claim against Blake, Ryan, the NYT, or Sloane. Asked for $400 million in damages. Got zero dollars. Have zero opportunity to recover attorneys fees from any of the litigation and they have given up their chance to appeal.
- Had texts and emails detailing how Wayfarer and their public relations teams sought to "bury" Lively widely publicized, as well as many embarrassing texts where, for instance, Abel is revealed to mock Baldoni for some of the same behavior Blake ultimately sues him for as well as other tone deaf and embarrassing behavior, like wanting to go on a quack doctor's show to blame his behavior on his neurodivergence, or going to Mexico to get a sketchy stem cell infusion for free that ultimately landed him in the hospital
- Baldoni was regularly dragged in the press for being whiny, weird, and vindictive, mocked with Onion headlines like "Justin Baldoni sues Justin Baldoni for getting him into this mess"
- A myriad of women have come forward to express displeasure of working with Baldoni and Heath, including but not limited to: their longtime podcast cohost, two other actresses on IEWU, another director who had worked with them prior to IEWU, and the independent producer they hired for the film
- Sarowitz's tasteless comments about Israel and Gaza widely publicized
- Lost their representation by WME and, to my knowledge, remain unrepresented in the industry
- Baldoni has not worked or even appeared publicly in his capacity as producer of a project since IEWU came out
- Baldoni and his wife have placed their California home up for sale and had to relocate to Tennessee
- Nathan, Wallace, and Freedman are now subject to multiple other suits related to activities uncovered in discovery during this case.
- Abel still being sued by Stephanie Jones and unclear if Sarowitz's money for her defense will extend to that action now that Sarowitz and Wayfarer are no longer parties. Wallace still being sued for attorney's fees in Texas. All parties still subject to potential damages in the 47.1 action and have given up right to appeal any decision on that motion.

Again, I don't think Blake won the case. But Baldoni didn't win either and isn't even done with litigation. Who know what will be come of the 47.1 motion (maybe nothing, maybe something, I truly have no idea) but there's actually now a ton of pending litigation concerning other Wayfarer parties. Where is Jen Abel's career? Melissa Nathan? Will Jed Wallace change his name and start over or what? I don't see a victory lap here.

FWIW I have a number of family members in the film industry and the general attitude of people who don't know any of these parties is that they all suck -- Blake, Ryan, Baldoni, Nathan, Abel, Heath, Sarowitz, Wallace. They are all kind of toxic right now. People will still work with Ryan and Sarowitz/Wayfarer because both still have financial leverage (whatever people may assume about Ryan's finances, he still has a lot of profitable businesses and plenty of friends in the industry) but Blake and Baldoni are kind of third rail at the moment and I think they'll both need time away before most people (especially anyone A list or aspiring A list) will associate with either of them. Hoover is also being sidelined from involvement with her ongoing projects -- she'll make bank but likely won't be doing press or red carpet for Verity when it comes out in the fall unless things cool down considerably from where they are now before then.

Everybody lost.

Daily mail article on the $2 million in unpaid contracting bills. It’s behind a paywall, but if you go to Reddit, you can read the full article.

One of the funniest quotes is how they wanted to do a renovation that “ honors the history and the people” while asking to put in a substantial pool house and a gym.

Howling.

I’ve been able to pay all my bills since December so no I don’t think they are richer than me. Actually think their wealth has been widely overblown. I don’t think it’s anywhere near the hundreds of millions. So no, I don’t think they are worth that much more than me but either way, I’m not living through a PR and legal nightmare so there’s that.

If you actually do not think that Ryan Reynolds is "worth that much more" than you, a random internet poster, then perhaps we shouldn't trust your commentary on anything because that's absurd. Whatever he spent on this litigation and whatever his current career prospects, he is and will always be much wealthier than any of us posting here. Don't be foolish.

DP. You are foolish for many things. Signed, a random internet poster most likely worth more if not the same as Reynolds. And before you assume, self-made. I use my wealth to help others and don't punch down. I think that pushes most people to the worth more category regardless of net wealth though.

Do you let your kids add guac?

One doesn't like guac and the other prefers to make his own.

Many actors and celebrities of this ilk fall into financial ruin. They’re uneducated and they get people not saying no them and they get taken advantage of by lawyers and crisis comms and others, just like Blake and Ryan.

They think the money is going to last forever and they don't know how to manage it. These idiots are investing in alcohol companies when drinking rates are as low as weve ever seen and we are entering an era where millennials and Gen Z are largely uninterested in drinking. Utter morons. They are not able to pay contractors for months of work after investing 12 million to buy property than another 17 million of renovations that they can’t afford.

Baldoni/Wayfarer admitted most likely f what she alleged happened. They just argued that in context, it wasn't legally SH. The number of details the two sides disagreed over is actually pretty small, and in many cases the disagreement is simply Blake alleging a detail and the involved people on Wayfarer's side saying they don't remember or answering a slightly different detail. This is normal in a case concerning interactions between several people, people remember differently.

The only people who we know lies in this case were Jed Wallace and Melissa Nathan, who were both proven to have lied in their depositions when Katie Case's emails were deemed admissible and proved they had lied. In her depo, Nathan even expresses surprise that Case's email has been admitted, revealing she lied intentionally, presuming it couldn't be disproven by an email she assumed was privileged.

Meanwhile Lively sat for hours if tough questioning in her depo and they didn't "catch" her in anything like this. Her testimony was consistent and truthful.

She perjured herself in her deposition. Keep up. Maybe one of the many reasons there was a last-minute settlement. She went around Sony asking them to delete the dailies. Sony had proof in an email exchange that they have never seen anyone request destroying the dailies and ever in their career when it didn’t have to deal with nudity. Blake was asked point blank if she did this and she said no.

Come on guys. It’s been over a week. No celebrity has come out and said anything. No walks with Taylor even though she’s been in New York doing a pap walk every freaking night. None of the sisterhood of the traveling pants sisters, sending her love for all she’s been through.

It’s over. This was a massive waste of time and money.

Blake had a request in her nudity rider that dailies from scenes where she was performing nudity and/or intimacy would be deleted. Regardless of what Ange Giannetti said in one email one time, this is actually not atypical, especially for an actress who has been in the business long enough to understand the risk of letting those dailies float around. Especially in the age of AI. Blake did not personally make this request (it was in her contract and her lawyers/agent sought to enforce it, which is their job). Ange rolling her eyes at it is in keeping with Ange being hands off and not wanting to do anything related to this production while also kissing the butt of whomever she is speaking to at the moment. Blake did not perjure herself.

Meanwhile, Jed Wallace and Melissa Nathan were asked directly if they had performed certain actions for clients, including building take-down websites of others at the request of a client, and they said no, and then were confronted with Katie Case's emails clearly showing they'd done exactly that. And Melissa Nathan's response was "I thought that was privileged" meaning she thought she could lie under oath without being caught because she believed Case's emails couldn't be admitted into testimony. So she's unethical AND stupid.

But do go on.

Saying Blake didn’t purge herself and lie because Jed Wallace did something unethical doesn’t make any sense.

But further, the Sony executive said they’ve never seen anything like it in their career. Normally dailies are asked to be deleted when there is nudity. They Specifically pointed out that she was asking for dailies to be deleted where there was no nudity. What don’t you understand?

Blake settled this case for no money and NDA. She had no leverage. She was absolutely desperate. Baldoni, who she was absolutely obsessed with, is going to go on making tens of millions of dollars off the story while she owes tens of millions to PR firms and lawyers.

Your side lost. I would recommend just getting over it and moving on. People are likely going to continue to keep this thread alive with the train wreck that is Ryan and Blake’s failing careers.

You may have noticed that there was a debate between Blake and Wayfarer about what constituted nudity on this movie. Ange Gianetti took the position that the film had no nudity at all -- her comment was that she had never before been asked about destruction of dailies for a movie with "no nudity." But if the movie had no nudity, then why was Blake asked to sign a nudity rider at all? Obviously there was some nudity in the movie, filmed if not shown on camera, and Blake's team correctly sought to enforce the clause in her nudity rider regarding destruction of those dailies after the film's release. Gianetti's comment about "I've never seen this before" was clearly premised on an apparently incorrect belief that there was nudity in the film. Gianetti was not directly involved in the production of the movie, she was an exec at the distributing studio.

Just because you feel like your side "won" (despite having their entire countersuit dismissed, losing their case against NYT, and Wayfarer having no major projects in development, and various Wayfarer parties still being subject to not only the pending 47.1 motion but also the Jones v. Abel suit as well as now multiple lawsuits that have sprung out of the discovery in Lively v. Wayfarer pertaining to the professional conduct of Nathan, Wallace, and Freedman) doesn't mean I have to agree to things that are false. As long as this thread is alive I will continue to weigh in, if only to correct the lies posters like you seem so eager to spread here for some mysterious reason.

Wayfarer has projects in development, including ones with Gabrielle Union and Alicia Keys. You don’t know what you’re talking about and none of what you said makes sense. The dailies had nothing to do with nudity. Blake was just trying to destroy evidence left and right. She’s just too much of a moron to know that Wayfarer would have a back up.

It’s truly amazing how stupid she is. thank God they have so many nannies and help. It’s a wonder she’s able to get around in the world at all.

They bought the property for 12 million in 2018 and because they weren’t basically tearing it down from the ground up and putting in a pool house and a bunch of other things, they had to go get approval from planning boards, which took a few years. Apparently there’s some historical significance to the property. In 2023 they started major construction, eventually enlisting five different companies to do various work. All those companies were paid until December 2025. Now all five companies have liens saying they have not been paid since December.

These morons are no different than the people who win the lottery. They don’t know how to manage their money and they spent like the money train from acting was going to last forever. Wrexham is 19 million in the red, aviation is not doing that well either. None of Blakes companies made money. And they have not had acting work in the last couple years. Ryan invested a bunch of his money and another big venture that was supposed to go public this year and is not because of all the drama surrounding a lawsuit.

Then they get in to a lawsuit that’s going to cost them tens of millions of dollars.

And yet they are much richer than you are, somehow. If they are morons, what does that make you, pray tell?

I’ve been able to pay all my bills since December so no I don’t think they are richer than me. Actually think their wealth has been widely overblown. I don’t think it’s anywhere near the hundreds of millions. So no, I don’t think they are worth that much more than me but either way, I’m not living through a PR and legal nightmare so there’s that.

Nor did you spend $30 million to destroy the careers of you and your spouse. Winning. We haven’t even given much thought how much Blake and Ryan have paid on pr and “social media management” fees over the past two years. That ex-Airbnb fixer doesn’t come cheap.

Imagine thinking that was the same as them being true. No, sweetie, Blake chose to settle before the fact finders actually determined whether or not she was lying.
