Ask the rest of the country where they regularly adjust boundaries so they don't have to set up trailer parks at their schools to house classrooms or bus kids halfway across the county that could be taught somewhere closer to home.

The rest of the country does NOT adjust boundaries, unless they are opening new schools or closing schools.
This was done for One Fairfax and equity. Nothing more. They just didn't expect trump to win and throw a wrench into their long term plans.

Is each review going to take 2 years of meetings? Or just this “big review” that turned out to be “nibbling at the edges?”
Should start in 2030 but we’ll have a new School Board in 2027 and they could scrap the five-year reviews.
It’s not like this one has been a great success. Instead, it showcased the weaknesses in both the School Board and the current superintendent.
This review started in 2024.
The next one will start in 2029.
I would bet LOTS of money this will be the end of it.
So, basically every on is just guessing at the next time line?
Policy 8130 ipdated summer of 2024.
The first rezoning meetings were in fall 2024.
That would make the rezoning cycle 2024, 2029, 2024, 2039...
The actual rezoning would occur 2026, 2031, 2036...
Assuming FCPS keeps this ridiculous 2 year, 7 stage rezoning process.
