I think their reason for divorce is 100% financial. I feel like she hasn’t addressed it because she’s embarrassed 1) that she didn’t know anything about their finances and 2) that she’ll be judged for leaving him over money. Would a man be judged for leaving his wife with a major closet credit card problem? Would a non-christian stay with a partner who lost all their savings in risky stock trading? She has commended him numerous times for being a good father. If this comes out as financial and they made no attempt to reconcile, it’s a really bad look for her.

And what’s going on with the oldest son? He had started his dream job on some ranch in TX but now he’s working on a different ranch in Missouri or Arkansas I think.

If you mean the IG post, I didn't read it that way. I would assume her accountants, etc would clue her in if they saw him doing something sketchy. I think now she is just taking over everything. I do the quarterly payments, etc. It's not rocket science if you have a good accountant.

I am fully aware she owes me nothing. But I am still wondering. Because she leads such a public life and made her marriage so public, I think it is natural to wonder how such a fantastic couple fell apart. It's very sad.

She puts her shit on display and profits from it. She doesn’t owe anyone anything in terms of an explanation, but it’s pretty shallow to hold your family and yourself in this superficial light. And, I agree, it certainly doesn’t look like she put in any work to save her marriage. I’m guessing he didn’t either. I’ve been through hell for my marriage and it was worth it to come out on the other side more in love and stronger as a result. Pretty weak tea in my opinion.

Agree. I’m reading and looking here because it seems so unbelievable that they are through. I wish them all the best, and I feel like it is natural to be curious when their lives were so public. For years she has encouraged us all to love one another through most everything, so I for one would like to know what is non-criminal that is unforgivable and is an exception to the rule of staying together?
