Just play it by ear. I'd definitely still go for right now. Keep an eye on your hotel cancellation dates.
Well, we promised a family member a show (gift), and we were supposed to go a month from now. Should we bump it up and if so, by how much?
I’d go as soon as humanly possible or postpone indefinitely.

DH wants my sister to cancel her visit in 3 weeks. She's coming from Seattle. I think she's going to be really sad and super annoyed with DH, who's a known control freak. I also thin he'll veto my plan to pick her up from the airport and take the kids to NYC (without DH)...most likely he will say going anywhere would be taking a risk of contracting and transmitting the virus. However, we would be staying in an outer boro with family, not at a hotel or hanging out in Times Square.

I mean if they feed me and pay my salary and I am not in a shithole I am totally ok with it.
....
They're not going to pay you. That's between you and your job which I'm pretty sure will require you (and most people) to take unpaid leave. That's what happened to the corona ship tourists who weren't retired.
Can’t I take FMLA though or some other medical leave?
If you are sick, sure. But most people aren't going to be that sick. I could simply work from home for the 2 weeks, because I have a nice employer and a job where I could still get stuff done.
Yeah I can work from home normally too.
But what if I don’t have my laptop? I guess I should bring it with me on my domestic travels, even for leisure.

Should sister cancel/postpone visit? Should I push for NYC? We're talking long weekend end of March.

I'm torn between:
cancelling (right now, I'd only lose my deposit);
holding out and waiting to see if Disney will start canceling and hopefully I'll get a full refund; or
recognizing that we're all healthy, it likely won't be an issue, and enjoying ourselves (at the risk of getting stuck on the boat/quarantined).
I love Disney and Disney cruises. I would not get on a cruise right now. I would try to get a credit. I would not want to get stuck on a cruise ship.
That being said, we have plans to go to Florida for spring break and we plan on going. We were going to a theme park but may just hang out at the beach instead.
