Ooooooo three times. Well then. By all means. I defer from our experience to you. I shall by him the Grandeest of the Grande that Starbucks offers.

New poster here. You know how sales, mergers, acquisitions work right? NDA's and Confidentiality agreements? At my job when we're working through a sale/merger, you can't talk about that stuff with anyone until it's done. Why do you care? Are you FCV? If not, then why do you even care.? And, the latte comment is lost on me. Why do you care? If you're not at FCV and don't want to be, then why does it matter to you. The parents who are there will decide what's best for them if changes start to become problematic. Do you really think the parents should just demand their money back and run from DA teams that are performing well together because you think that maybe there might be some changes eventually? Come on.
NDA's at your job? Like when you're selling a soccer club?
Who said anything about people leaving or asking for their money back? Nobody is generally that knee jerk and they will see how things go. That said, it is a pretty bad look to drop that bombshell after folks had signed on though.
We don't deal in soccer clubs at my workplace. Again, not him. So, they should've told people before it was done that maybe someone else might buy the club? Naw. Seems like people who keep raising the issue of the sale aren't even with the club. Why does anyone else care?
Exactly, why would people care if a new possible practice location is 30 miles away from the one originally thought to be?
Possible, maybe, could be. But it isn't. Still at Evergreen. My question, is why would anyone OUTSIDE the club who doesn't want to be there even care where FCV holds training?
You honestly believe that such a location change does not matter to parents?
I think IF that were to happen it would matter to people WITHIN or considering the club. Otherwise, why do YOU care? Are you in the club or considering it? If not, then I don't get how you're so invested.
Ok, ok, you've got me. I am interested in the club. Can you tell me more about the training environment? Does it differ from other clubs in NoVA, and if so how?
Yes it does differ. They don't train you. Your DD will do some rondos, passing drills then a scrimmage. This is recruiting club not a training club.
Right, having a UEFA A licensed coach and one of 15 coaches in the country that have complete the directors course doesn't develop anything...only recruit.
I'm certainly happy I don't have to deal with you folks on the sideline.
Well, this is certainly posted by a parent. You might want to wipe your chin and glasses.
I agree. I have never heard any DA or ECNL parent use the term UEFA. And who would know how many coaches in the country have a given license? This is a coach who wrote this. No question. LMAO.
DP here, I am a parent and I have known and used UEFA license many times. We are not all as ignorant as you.

DPL as well.
A B team who's closest league teams are in South Carolina and Georgia.
Where do I sign my kid up?
And this is why your kid won't play at the highest level...
DPL is not the highest level.
Taking a B team to Georgia to play against a B team. LOL
Wasn't talking about the league...
Talking about the attitude of the parent.
Which all too often gets passed down to the kid.
You know what else gets passed down? Stupidity, which is what going to Georgia for a league game when the same group of kids can't beat CYA would be.
You might as well pull your kid out any travel and save your money. Your attitude will kill any chance they have. Good luck though with non competitive activities.
You confuse attitude with critical thinking and skepticism.
Please enlighten us on how playing Top Hats B team will elevate mine or anyone's child.
I see only skepticism and negativity.
If you were a critical thinker, you'd think through it to discover why playing other top clubs from across the country is beneficial for a young player, even the B team.
Best of luck playing in the local leagues called travel - AKA: Pay to play so parents and kids can claim they play 'travel'.
That a B team has to travel farther than the DA team travels just to play other clubs B team is a little suspect.
The DA team has traveled to Atl, NYC, Denver and San Diego in a month.
Again, it is a different level, a different drive in each and every player.
Keep on keepin on!

I thought he seemed nice. I am just being honest. I do not understand all the anger. He can’t help if the club he is working at was sold. I was also impressed with the various age groups practicing. Remember when you are putting someone down that there is a person attached to your “Anonymous” rant. It just isn’t nice. I am getting embarrassed to read the soccer part of DCUM because I cannot believe parents stoop this low.
You met the dude once and feel you have a better take away than people in his presence a year?
Oh good lord. I also talked to him after and yes he seemed nice. I also saw him
when his team played our team and I did not see anything crazy. If you are mad then why not talk it through rather than damaging someon’s reputation on an online forum that most of the DC/Va/Md soccer community reads. I like reading helpful information but I am
seeing a lot of just mean and not helpful stuff. Can we all just try to stick to not getting so
Personal?
Ooooooo three times. Well then. By all means. I defer from our experience to you. I shall by him the Grandeest of the Grande that Starbucks offers.
