Very few instances of cross-competition between the two. And even less between the ECNL and GDA clubs in this area. Get back to your homework.
Why so many morons on this board?
Per GDA vs ECNL, I did not say that the clubs play each other every week but know that they have played each other in select showcase events/tournaments this past year. The Penn Fusion Showcase was the main one I am aware of but there were others.
Look, if you don't have anything of value to add then just back off. I am tired of the stupidity.
There are very few instances of GDA vs ECNL. Some select showcases. I think VDA had a showcase where the VDA team played the Spirit in one age group. Penn Fusion which has been well discussed. I have not seen McLean playing in DA vs ECNL showcases.
Our GDA teams scrimmaged ECNL teams on the DL. The games were not close as the DA teams dominated the ECNL teams. Just FYI.
Doesn't mean one is better or worse, you'll get ECNL teams (PDA) that were outstanding last year in the DA prior to going all in ECNL this year and still dominating.
One thing I found interesting are the numbers for ECNL. For years they have ~1400 or so players and ~1200-1300 play in college. 2019 is over ~1600 with fewer than 1200 playing. The numbers are shrinking. It may be only one year, but it is perception.
