Whereas the red wave simply shrugs it's shoulders and says, give me my hood.

+1 Northam should resign when Steve King does (and Steve King has no intention of resigning because he is truly shameless.)
+1 The GOP hasn't even censured Steve King for saying racist stuff last week.
So you don't believe Northam is a racist?
Racism is impact. Intent comes second. Doesn’t matter what Northam was thinking. What he did was racist.

Their outrage is strictly limited to democratic politicians. They support racists unless their Dems.

We expect accountability out of our leadership. That is why Franken had to go too.
Imagine if the GOP had stood by "family values" when the Access Hollywood tape came out. Imagine if the GOP had rejected Moore in Alabama. Imagine if the GOP forced Steve King's hand. Imagine if the GOP stood up for voting rights, one man, one vote and equal facilities for voting at the state and precinct level.
And instead, we are getting that 'the dems are overreacting" - no, sorry, the GOP has stood by as racist after racist and mysogynist have claimed the mantel for the party despite the rhetoric of family values, fiscal restraint and peace through strength abroad.
I don't even know what the GOP stands for anymore, but it is nowhere near the party I grew up with.
Would he have been chosen as Lt. Gov. and Governor if that picture had come out?
The last governor was a carpetbagger from New York State who adopted Virginia culture as well. Who do you think all the people in Northern Virgina, the region you rely on to politically take Virginia.
Trump has been an open book for decades: you get what you get. Chris Christie claimed in his book candidate Trump was embarassed by the comment. He has to wear that comment around his neck like an albatross. And he does. Moore was taken out by American political consultants using Russian tactics. Even Nancy Pelosi didn't want to censure Steve King dor his language because the Republicans could pull the same manevuer on her caucus. King was rounded chastised for his comments. Yet, media attacks a child for a smirk - Lord of the Flies style - and NOW you want to get reasonable?
Seriously. There's a log coming out of Democrats' eyes.
That was some interesting free association.
