Could be. but I wouldn't read too much into any training location this week. From what I've heard, Fairfax County has been slow to finalize schedules for all clubs/sports and few have permanent schedules yet. This definitely has affected lacrosse and at least some soccer. Many are scheduling training day by day/week by week. Likely that was just available space.

but hey, i agree that Tom and Spirit are an option if you want out of McLean, but I think there are other potentially better options as well. but the point is the 06s and 08s and other ages in McLean have lots of parents talking about how it sucks, or sucked. Clyde doesn't want to deal with crap like this.

McLean BOD is a joke. Parents who question higher up salaries are removed from ticket and not allowed to run. Children of parents on the BOD are placed on teams they don’t belong on to make the parents happy. It’s actually embarrassing.

This is accurate.
It is the local option for us, and our friend is a board member.
For the most part, the club is just too small and the coaches too petty.
We are looking at Spirit, but the drive is too long. Arlington is also an option.

Nobody else does either.

McLean is run by the same group of people that have found some he easiest place to make money without having to do any work.

What’s with all the puppet references? Come up with something new. It’s old.

McLean has a BOD. Spirit doesn't need a BOD, and even if it had a bad seed coach, having a BOD does nothing to help (as you can see in McLean.

Spirit doesn’t have a board. Contact Tom Torres for a tryout.

It must be a special art to be here to trash McLean and Spirit at the same time. Seek help, you clearly have a mental issue.

You do know that most McLean ECNL players did not actually play u9-u12 soccer in Mclean, right? In years past you would have a maximum of 3-4 players make their ECNL club from their u12 feeder (pre-ECNL) team. With the DA (and additional ECNL clubs added)--McLean now has to 'home-grow' (develop) their own talent. They just don't have as big of a pool of players to pull from (locally) than a Loudoun or Arlington (bigger clubs, more zip codes). They have also had significant changes with the coaches on the younger teams (u9-u12 on the girls side). They lost their TD 2 years ago (Diane Drake) and replaced her with an individual that no one has a lot of respect for (Jahon). Hence their current 06 ECNL team's record (1 win and 1 tie in 12 games)...

Ugh. We left because of that guy. That club has gone downhill with hisnshadow and parents cannot stand him at other clubs. Even parents on his own teams complain. Nuts McLean.

And we're all glad you love Spirit.

Except DC not at Spirit. Much better club, although Spirit is probably a better experience then McLean based on the crap going on now at McLean.

If you're at DC, then all you know about McLean is second hand gossip.
