If evaluation of others clothing is something you consider important . . .something is very wrong. People should wear what they like and are comfortable wearing.

I believe what you described is ankle length which is generally ok. Capri pants end at the widest part of the calf, which is why they flatter no one.

How about boyfriend jeans with a rolled bottom? Similar length to capris. I'm wearing them now. With converse and a t-shirt

Well, I can tell you that they've done nothing to help me finish this project I've been struggling through all day. Ugh. Next time I'll try a skirt.

If you are tall and thin, nothing. If you are shorter and/or heavy, it can make you look square and squat. And possibly pregnant depending on where the weight is carried.
