That’s if Iran reopens the Strait of Hormuz right away. What if they decide they would like to extend the pain for the United States and everyone else who supported this war? Seems like Iran gets to decide when things go back to normal, not Trump or the United States.
Just saying the world’s economy is breaking now. The supply and trade system takes 3-4 weeks under good normal conditions to deliver oil and oil derivatives. If The Bab-el-Mandeb is closed it will be over. We will be is a world wide depression.
And apparently if Trump's intention was to use this to create a coalition against Iran that also seems to be failing.
Gee, if only he hadn't come right out of the gate into his Presidency attacking, insulting and alienating every ally the US had, tearing down every relationship the US spent decades building, burning every bridge he could find... then maybe we'd have had a chance at a more sensible approach at dealing with Iran, along with a coalition to make it happen.
