Seriously are the parents who dont let their kiddos play HS just scared their kids aren’t good enough to work back into rotation if they get injured. Or is the fear they wont standout and will be exposed for being too on a team they have no business being on?
Asking for a few coaches and friends.
Where will your DD improve? Playing high school soccer or in their normal club environment? It’s probably different for everyone. My DD is definitely improving not playing high school.
LOL no serious clubs are allowing this unless they have an immediate need and/or your kid is a rockstar with that much leverage over the club.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:bp???Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:+ The forcing of next years July - December 10th graders to play another year of U15. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. You should just leave Vda and play for a different club if you want to play up.
Probably not BP. Probably just a parent that’s so done listening to parents complain about what age group their daughter is being placed in. If you don’t like it, just go to another club that will let your daughter play up.

Some kids at VDA in Fairfax and other counties are having wonderful experiences playing against and with team/club mates. Without the toxicity. If your HS situation is toxic complain to the chain of command and things get fixed. Its not like a private club.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Some kids in Fairfax and other counties are having wonderful experiences playing against and with team/club mates. Without the toxicity. 100%, I feel bad for the parents that didn't allow their dc to play high school
We are talking about HS aged kids, I, as the parent, did NOT make the choice for my kid. DC would be playing HS soccer if it was my choice.
I truly hope you guys aren’t being bullied out of an experience you only get to do once as parents. No guarantees that college will provide the same loving experience.
I’m PP and missed that you said “loving” to describe your DD’s experience. Can you explain what you mean by that?
Love that for you!
