And this is when I realized what a tactical error it was for her to make this album a "showgirl" concept, because it will push her into doing a LOT of choreography to support the concept. Look, Taylor is extremely talented at many things, but you and I and Taylor and anyone with eyes knows she can't dance. Sure, she can look like a showgirl in the costume with the makeup in a still photo because she has the face and the height for it. But put that in motion and it's just cringe cringe cringe please stop.

This album is a dud. Mark my words, "Cruel Summer" back in 2019 will go down as her last bonafide hit ever. And even that was a bit of a rip-off of Ace of Base's 1998 "Cruel Summer," which was originally by Bananarama in 1983. Pop stars all lose their fast ball in their 30s. She would have been 29 or so when "Cruel Summer" was recorded.
