fvu had 2 weak SOGs… they do count however. Couldn’t get it going on the attack. It is what it is. You guys had some pretty goals one cross bar and the rest the goalies ate easily. On defense however If dominating the whole game is getting pushed/forced off the ball and kicking it out of bounds .. you got it bro!!! That didn’t look like control from the first half and part of the second. And it was quiet over there for a reason. Good game from all the girls. No need to recreate history however.Anonymous wrote:70% even? Come on… FVU didn’t even step into Arlington’s 18-yard box. Zero shots, while Arlington had chance after chance. The parents trying to call it a ‘close game’ just to make themselves feel better doesn’t change the fact that Arlington dominated the whole game. That’s how soccer works—if you’re in the other team’s half enough, eventually you put it away. Arlington didn’t need halftime magic—they just controlled the game start to finish. FVU needs to be worried about coaching, because talent alone isn’t winning games like that...Anonymous wrote:uhhh ok. Wasn’t hope. Was a good game between the coaches. Good adjustments on your team. But it was a pretty even game for 70% of it. Good on yall to eke it out at the end. And we didn’t play a lot of kickball out there. Until the end. It probably hurts to admit it but we hung in there until the end. Sorry not sorry.Anonymous wrote:The only good thing about FVU is their back line, but beyond that? Nothing. Their “game plan” looked like kick-and-chase with no real idea behind it. Whatever their coach is trying to do, it’s not showing on the field... Not to mention how they were barely in Arlington's half the whole game. Also, they continued to get no shots on goal. FVU, may had had hope in the first half but we all still know how that game was going to end..

VDA lost 3-0. Sounds like a nail biter.
3 goals in the last 13-15 mins of the game is not a blowout …you guys were quiet and quite frankly getting out muscled. A W is a W however. Cant wait to run it back.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:uhhh ok. Wasn’t hope. Was a good game between the coaches. Good adjustments on your team. But it was a pretty even game for 70% of it. Pretty even for 70% of it? Were you watching the same game? Check the veo stats Union dad. It was a blowout across the board. See you never.
