Is this another instance of Taylor demoting a Central Office person and sticking them back in a school like what he did with Damon at Blair?
There was a cut of a consulting principal position in the budget cuts. They needed a landing spot for Sinclair at a school. Prior to Blake, he was also the principal at Poole MS.
Got it. So he lost his CO job and needed to land somewhere.
What was his track record at Poole and Blake? Was he liked and respected by staff, parents and students at both schools?

People paying attention will remember that she was the AP at RPES who called the police, A.K.A. her husband---the assigned CEO at the time, to report the Principal's behavior toward a Kindergarten student. This action caused the Principal to lose his job and stand trial on assault charges. He was later acquitted.
Tibbs did a good job as AP at RPES and was required by law to report the allegation and will do a good job at Clarksburg.
It’s unfortunate that the Principal lost his job as I was a fan but the allegations weren’t made up as a way to oust him.

Finally! This toxic principal should have been ousted long ago.

That’s why she got the job. Quid pro quo.
This is ridiculous. (1) That’s a very long time for a quid pro quo payout; (2) I’m glad MCPS is willing to promote people who blow the whistle on bad behavior by their superiors. That shows a much more functional culture than “report wrongdoing and be black-listed forever.” Good for her.
Except she didn’t blow the whistle on bad behavior, she made a blatantly false accusation against an effective principal to get him fired. The accusation was thrown out at court.

Yes, he's a well-liked and very experienced principal, a good choice to open a new school.
