We don't just "keep throwing money away all over the world." The US doesn't (the last 5 weeks notwithstanding) spend money that isn't in its national interest. I will never understand how/why the Republicans in Congress aren't screaming about this. I have to believe that it isn't only a primary they fear but that Trump's goons that he pardoned have issued threats to them or to their families. If they don't genuinely fear for their health or safety, then they are just sick people.
