Yeah there’s clearly no love lost between Kraft and Belichick (which is weird) but there’s no way Kraft organized the owners so no one else would hire him. It was obvious after Brady left that what everyone thought was about 50-50 was actually like 85 Brady and 15 Belichick.

One thing you are not acknowledging is the difference between an owner and a coach. An owner is the rich guy who finances the whole operation.
Many NFL owners live a life of luxury and do not get involved in daily teak operations. The coaches, on the other hand, are required to lead an entire team of coaches and coordinators and come up with the master plan for the whole team. It is like playing chess but with people running around. It involves being on top of all sorts of schemes and trends that other teams are doing. You know what other college coaches are doing right now? They are drawing up plays and hitting the transfer portal to try to get the best prospects. They are not hanging out at the Miss Podunk pageant and doing interviews in dirty clothes because it looks bad to the competition.

No, you’re wrong. I’ve seen tons of coverage of the the Raiders billionaire and his girlfriend. I don’t even follow sports, and as soon as you posted that, I’m thinking of all the reels and memes I’ve seen… Apparently she has come out in public and said she was attracted to him because of his smile. People are absolutely dying. It’s no different, they’re both being made fun of and it is being made news.

We don't actually know if he's still winning in football. We won't see his coaching again that until the college football season starts in September.
College season begins in August. Bellichek has recruited a top 10 transfer class to UNC. There are a lot of very rich men at competing programs jealous of his immediate and disruptive success. Bill was also quite clearly blackballed from the NFL by Bob Kraft who can not stand him.

You must not follow football. Bill Bellichick is one of the most important people in the NFL and has been widely respected until now. The reason it's getting lots of coverage is because it is very uncharacteristic for someone as smart and savvy as Bill to let an Instagram ho take over his life. That's the kind of thing that happens to first year players.
People thought Bill was smarter than that and they are shocked and wondering if he is right in the head. Going on CBS in a torn and dirty sweatshirt and letting her control the interview makes it look like he cannot fend for himself. It is worrisome.
All the NFL owners are billionaire old farts with young wives, young girlfriends, young mistresses and seeing prostitutes. Most of the NFL coaches are cheating on their wives. I don't see any of that getting any coverage. Why? Because the news is fake and this hysteric coverage of Bellichek is paid for. Someone has put money on this to ruin his reputation.
The difference is that those owners' wives are not parading them around at unrelated promotional events or demanding control of team communications. The owners lives revolve around the NFL, period, and their wives know that. For the most part the wives have little to do with the teams. One exception was Kim Pegula, who was an operations VP for the Bills. But Kim was not parading around half dressed and dragging Terry Pegula behind her. She is also a spouse of 30 years, not just an Instagram model.
Jordan has inserted herself into Bill Bellichick's job at UNC and is therefore interfering with his job.

80 yo Patriots billionaire owner Bob Kraft was arrested seeing human trafficked Asian prostitutes. And not only did the entire case go away, his mug shot was never made public either.
NFL players are routinely arrested for rape, beating women, drugs, vehicular homicides, and even murder. Yet THIS gets all the viral coverage for weeks on end? Totally organic.

You are delusional. I hadn’t seen any coverage of this before the CBS morning interview a week or so ago. To call this “MONTHS of obsessive coverage” or to compare it to those two completely unrelated issues is just wrong.

Not winning yet. We will see how the fall goes. But most seniors would probably prefer the soup and puzzles vs. manipulation, family and work interventions, and public humiliation.
